Neighbors - The surrounding area may include normal island activity such as construction, traffic, landscaping, or other guests. Noise and disturbances do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments. If something feels disruptive, please let us know.
Utilities - due to weather or infrastructure limitations, you may experience interruptions to services such as water, electricity, cable, internet, air conditioning and plumbing. Interruptions outside our control do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments. We will always do our best to assist, support, and help reduce any impact when possible.
Amenities – We do our very best to keep all in-home amenities and appliances in good working order though Hawaii’s salty air and humidity can cause wear and tear more quickly than in other places. Resort amenities such as the pool, BBQs, etc. are outside of our direct control and may occasionally be closed or undergo maintenance without notice. The condominium is pretty well equipped with what you need like staying in your own house. The property is clean and well maintained. Contacting the host is easy and responsive to all the inquiries regarding the unit.

The property was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was in great condition and it was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place welcoming for guests. The host was also very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this property to others!

Simply fantastic! A location with a direct ocean view and peaceful accommodations. Very well thought of interiors and the communication throughout all phases of the stay was excellent.
Very nice ocean front condo with amazing views
Very nice ocean front condo with amazing views. We saw whales from our lanai and pool daily. This place had all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Spencer and the rest of the Surf Shack team did a terrific job communicating and responding both before and during our trip.
The unit was well kept but not private
The unit was well kept but not private. There were many units within view and hearing distance of other occupants. The second bedroom does not have a private balcony as assumed from the photos. Outside the second bedroom is a walkway accessible by occupants of other units. This meant the door could not be open overnight allowing cool breezes, so the room was warm and not comfortable.
